commission information

My mediums are oils on canvas, charcoal/pencil, pen and ink, and digital art. My paintings are done in my own particular style, which I often refer to as realism with a dose of whimsy. I also accept commissions for paintings of people (celebrities), seascapes and sunsets, and drawings of people (regular folk like us)! :) A commissioned drawing can usually be done within 3-4 weeks; an oil painting takes about 5-6 weeks of turnaround (a week of that is drying time). I ask for a 50% downpayment before starting a commission; remainder of the fee is due upon completion of the artwork, before shipping. I ship on Mondays, via UPS Ground; shipping charges within the USA are $15-$25; outside of the USA are determined as needed. I use smooth-sided canvases, and all canvases' sides are painted with an extension of the image; framing is not necessary, I attach hanging wire to the backs, so they are ready to hang immediately. Drawings are sold unframed and unmatted. Please note that I retain all copyright, reproduction, and merchandising rights to any artwork I create. I accept personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, and PayPal (through my e-mail address).
